This bed and breakfast is perfectly suited for romantic getaways or family and pet-friendly vacations alike. Open all year round, The Feathered Star provides over three acres on which you and your loved ones can bike or take walks that might be either romantic or fun, depending on who you’re with, of course.

In addition to intimate bedrooms (all located on the main floor, and each with a small sitting porch or fireplace), the location features central gathering rooms and dining areas where families and friends can gather, and where a continental breakfast (does not include eggs or meat) is served each day.

Situated in quaint and naturally beautiful Door County, we are located within pedaling distance of the center of town, where guests have been known to take part in the local fanfare. Known as the “best small town” in the state of Wisconsin, and one of the “coolest small towns” in the entire country, our small city has gained quite a reputation among travelers for offering azure waters and a breathtaking expanse of sky throughout the entire year. Nothing shy of a serene but bustling escape, this small town offers visitors a variety of performing arts opportunities, renowned shops, and numerous golf courses.

Another favorite attraction with visitors is the Plum Loco Animal Farm. Here you and your loved ones can enjoy feeding and petting many local farm animals. This makes a great day out with kids – or for adults with a sense of humor.

If you prefer a more adult-friendly day excursion activity, you can venture to Shartner’s Farm Market in the morning for fresh foods, and then head over to Stone’s Throw Winery for a tasting in the afternoon.
